How has it been 15 years since we opened our doors in Bushwick, Brooklyn. These 15 years has been a whirlwind 3 buildouts, 1000s of hair done and friendships that last a lifetime. I am so grateful for Tomahawk for bringing you all into my life. I have to thank these people for being my ride or dye Kristin Jackson 15 years babe stood by me through everything. Maria Lina your friendship means the world to me, you bring such beautiful creative energy to our space. My gal pals Tomahawk and Bushwick brought us together and we built a community Courtney, Erika, Steph, Mary, Shelby, Fleury, Ashley, Karin… Special thank you to Chris, Jen, and my family. We stand with those that have lost their homes, their families, their people. Tomahawk will always be for the marginalized BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community. In the upcoming months we will be working on more gender affirming hair community talks. A new tab of resources for those that may be in areas where inclusivity maybe under attack and marginalized communities.
